Peter is still comatose, as Claire tries to wrest back some kind of control over her life, while everything she thought she knew crumbles around her. Meanwhile, Sylar and Niki are both imprisoned. They're both dangerous, and they're both difficult to keep caged...

Hiro and Ando finally arrive in New York, hunting down the legendary sword of Takezo Kensei. They find it in a museum, and spot a curious symbol on the hilt (familiar to eagle-eyed viewers), which seems to read as 'Godsend' in Japanese. Hiro managed to use his powers and steal it, only to discover it's a replica!

Matt manages to convince Audrey that something is amiss in Primatech Paper, but after a lightning raid the SWAT team find nothing – he's in big trouble. Peter finally awakens from his coma at the end of the episode, and stumbles across a new Hero: an invisible man from his prophetic dreams, played by guest star Christopher Eccleston.
