The various Heroes continue to explore their new gifts/curses, as Claire struggles to pretend to herself and everyone around her that she’s perfectly normal, even going on a date with the high school quarterback. Hiro, ever-enthusiastic, drags his skeptical best friend to America on a quest to save the world, while Niki follows instructions from a sinister and unknown person that leads her, and her son, to the middle of the desert.
Nathan, loving brother that he is, decides to use Peter’s so-called ‘accident’ as a tool to help him get elected, and the murderous Sylar is hunted not only by the FBI (with mind-reading Matt Parkman in tow), but by Mohinder Suresh, who uses his father’s research to uncover valuable clues.
