EPISODE ONE: GENESIS

WARNING! POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD!
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

As a total eclipse drives a long shadow across the planet, Mohinder Suresh, a genetics professor in India, resumes the controversial work that his murdered father pursued all the way to New York. His notes seem to imply that there are people, living among us, with incredible powers. The next step in human evolution.

Peter Petrelli, a young nurse, tries to convince his skeptical politian brother Nathan that he can fly. A pretty, popular Texan cheerleader called Claire discovers that she recovers from any injury, and Niki, a struggling single mother in Las Vegas, realises that her mirror image hides a dark secret.

Back in New York, a drug-addicted comic artist and painter called Isaac creates disturbingly prophetic images, and all the way over in Japan a cubicle drone called Hiro is convinced that he has the power to stop time just by concentrating. Connected in ways that none of them could ever imagine, they won’t just save the world – they’ll change it forever.
